Margaret L. Waddell has a varied advocacy practice that encompasses a broad range of corporate, commercial, securities and shareholder litigation, class actions, professional liability cases, and appearing as appellate counsel. She has appeared in all levels of the Ontario Courts, and made applications for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Additionally, Margaret regularly appears as a speaker at various continuing education programs, and taught the LSUC Bar Admission Course for numerous years. Margaret is a former Director of The Advocates’ Society and the past-Chair of its Subcommittee on Advocacy and Practice, where she continues to act on an ad hoc basis on its committees. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 1989, and in Alberta in 1991, and earned an LL.M degree in 2002. |
