Denise Sayer joined Paliare Roland Rosenberg Rothstein LLP as an associate in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Denise clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and then practiced civil litigation with a leading national law firm in Toronto. Denise’s practice includes all aspects of corporate, commercial and civil litigation, with additional expertise in class action and pension litigation.
Denise obtained her LL.B. At Queen's University. While at Queen’s, Denise served as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of the Queen’s Law Journal, participated in the Laskin Administrative Law Moot, co-chaired the Women & Law Group and tutored students in the Education Equity Program. She also received a number of awards for academic excellence and contribution to student life.
Denise is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society. Denise is also a member of the Ontario Disabilities’ Committee, which is working with the Ministry of the Attorney General to increase accessibility to Ontario courts for individuals with disabilities.
Prior to attending law school, Denise obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hon.) from Wilfrid Laurier University and worked in marketing at a telecommunications company for several years. |
